Volunteer Stewardship Days
Volunteer Stewardship Days at Tanglewood Muskoka offer an opportunity to take part in the ongoing care and development of the land.
These structured day experiences focus on meaningful, hands-on work such as trail building, habitat improvement, and site preparation, while also providing time to slow down, reconnect, and spend purposeful time outdoors.
THE EXPERIENCE
Participants work alongside the Tanglewood team in a guided and supportive environment.
Each day is designed to be productive without being rushed, allowing individuals to learn practical skills, contribute to the land, and engage fully with the natural surroundings.
Expectations
No prior experience is required. Individuals, families, and small groups are welcome.
Participants should come prepared for outdoor work and variable conditions, and are asked to bring their own meals for the day.
These stewardship days are not simply volunteer work — they are an extension of the Tanglewood experience: grounded, intentional, and built around connection to the land, personal reset, and shared effort.
